About us

Who We Are

NavGurukul, founded in 2016 by Harvard and IIT-Delhi graduates, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing access to aspirational careers for marginalized communities. Our 18-month fully-funded residential programs focus on programming, finance, business, and design. With seven centers across India, we have empowered 1,145+ students and placed 830+ in tech and non-tech jobs. We also run digital initiatives like Meraki and Zuvy to expand learning opportunities.

Why We Work

We aim to break barriers—economic, social, and educational—especially for women from marginalized backgrounds. Women comprise 90% of our residential seats, and over 65% of our team are NavGurukul alumni. Our focus is on gender inclusivity and providing equitable economic opportunities.

Our team

We are a collective of full-timers and volunteers who form the backbone of a movement aiming to bring affordable education to underprivileged girl students across India. Our workforce composition is consciously diverse and inclusive, with 65% of our team members being NavGurukul Alumni, over 67% of team members being women, and those who identify in the gender spectrum as non-binary.
